Episode 9 - Missional rhythms of an embedded church

What happens when a church experiments with different ways of being the gathered church week by week? In Episode 9 we talk with Renee and James B Notkin who are the co-pastors of Union Church in Seattle. Union Church worships in a traditional format a couple of Sundays per month. On other Sundays they meet in small groups or are engaged out in their communities.

Union Church in Seattle is a beautiful community of Presbyterians sharing the love of Christ in Seattle in unusual ways. The church hosts a coffee shop, cafe and event space during the week, and worship on Sundays. This creative venture is supported by the Seattle Presbytery, University Presbyterian Church and the Presbyterian Foundation. Watch the video to see how the church carries out its mission.
